Felix Nana Boakye is an avid Private and Social Entrepreneur, IT Support Analyst, Accountant and Consultant for SME’s. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of BNF Consult and the National Administrator of Assemblies of God, Ghana Ministers’ Pension Scheme. Prior to his current position, Felix worked with Logiciel Limited, a multi-million enterprising technology-based company that provides innovative cloud-based systems for Financial and Non-Financial Institutions in Ghana, Togo, Kenya and Nigeria as the General Manager.
Felix has over 20 years’ cross-disciplinary experience in the Service & Manufacturing sector Spanning Accounting & Finance, Auditing, IT, Operational software implementation & Support, Business Advisory, Credit Management, Investment, Marketing, Payroll Management, NGO Management, and General Administration.
Anchored in his financial background, Felix has extensive experience in consulting for Non-Bank Financial industry (Banks, Microfinance/Micro credit, Financial NGO, Leasing companies, Credit Union, and Insurance
He successfully supervised, Trained and deploy Banking Software’s’ and Business Advisory services to over Six Hundred (600) non- bank financial Institutions including 85 credit unions across Ghana, Togo, and Nigeria for over Nine (9) + years. He directly pioneered the setting up of three Credit Unions Namely-Graduate Enterprise Credit Union, Triumphant Christian Centre –Assemblies of God Credit Union, Dams Group Credit Union. Felix is the Vice Chairman of Graduate Enterprise Co-operatives Credit Union and the lead consultant for Triumphant Christian Centre Credit Union, and currently the Fund Manager for Assemblies of God Credit Union-Headquarters.
He provides business Advisory to a number of Micro institutions, Real Estate Developers and Market women. Felix was part of a team that lead the innovation and modelling of the group Loan concept for micro businesses in southern Togo through a consultation white paper. Felix has different career exposures with multiply medium to Small Scale Industry players due to his management role with Unique Version Limited and his relationship with microfinance, Micro Credit Associations and, Assemblies of God Credit Union.
As part of his international assignments and consultancy he played a pivotal role in helping one of the largest Microfinance Bank in Lagos- Nigeria in gathering data for migration onto a new Software, assessed their training needs, setup organizational training objectives, created training action plan, implemented training and operational structures and set out processes for evaluation.
Additionally, Felix worked with Mobitech Consult as a Project Lead and a business advisory mediator, seeing to the designed and development of a Church Software, its sustainable financial control system and database.
Adding up to his credit, Felix serves as a director on several Boards including Our Lady of Mercy International School, Huvacliq Technologies, Lifeline Savers Limited, Progress Council, MBYB Goodwill Ent, Assemblies of God Pension Board, Assemblies of God credit union Board, Kwahu sanitation volunteers club among others.
Felix has worked with a number esteem establishment such as Volta River Authority (VRA)-Accra, Ghana Health Services-Accra, John Nipa and Associates-Accra, Paramount Limited, -Kumasi, Cocoa Processing Company –Tema, Betty Carry Group-Accra, Empire Dwellers Realty -Accra, Ledi Marketing & CO.-Accra from Account Officer to Accountant.
Felix was part of team of four that prepare a selling memorandum that sought to provide prospective investors with the effective demand prospects for selected target markets. This research was adopted by an SME, which helped them to acquire a private placement process in June 2003. Felix has a number of published researches such as an enquiry into the effect of import on Textile Firms In Ghana, The effect of VAT flat rate scheme on Revenue and compliance, Enhancing Credit Mobilization to improve Revenue Generation. A case study of LESDEP.
He holds a diploma in Accounting from Accra Technical University, Specialized Certificate in Operational and customer Service Management from Amity University-Indian, Bsc Administration –Accounting Option from Central University with an MBA in Accounting and Finance from the University of Professional Studies, Accra, and an Associate of Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana, member of Institute of Public Accountant(IPA)- Australia, A member of Institute of Financial Accountant-AFA-UK ,and a Member of Young African Leaders Initiative. Felix also holds a master’s certificate in E-book writing and publication from Write –from- me International-Nigeria. He has several CPD to his credit.
